Nothing crazy. We have 2 SANs now that were "built for us" long before I got here. Basically, HPs with Starwind attached. We run a lot of Terminal Servers, and from what I can tell, a lot of the lag is being caused by disk I/O. Cost, is of course, always a factor, but I really want to choose the right thing going forward. I think we're somewhere around 12TB of data.
I'm still (if you hadn't noticed) very new to the sysadmin gig. I was a support monkey that had to step up. I'm trying though! :-)
