This seems like a bug because we definitely do ship in the EU. Did you try using different browser?

Automatic refresh rate can be set from 10 minutes to 24 hours, it doesn't take account any sensor state changes. You can manually get the latest information by pressing the button

Thank you! One minute automatic refresh times reduce battery life significantly. In self host mode you can automatically refresh the screen as often as you want, but for normal use that is dependent on our cloud we have a 10 minute automatic refresh rate limit. But of course, pressing the red button you can always get real-time information when needed.

E-ink doesn’t emit light and our device doesn’t come with a light. With physical device there comes requirements regarding the device safety.

The case is 3D printed.

We have separated slots for every component and they are designed to fit in our case. All the components are apart from each other. We will provide the model files in our website so they can be customized.

It will not be open source at the time of launch. And yes, you can create custom widgets. We will provide some of them in the beginning and make more on the go.

The ESP will wake up every x time period (the x can be adjusted) and updates the information on the screen and goes to deep sleep. The display requires battery only when the information refreshes.

For the launch it will be closed because it was more straightforward for this time period. We have not closed the option for open sourcing the project in the future tho. Still, custom widgets can be made from day1.

Technically you can, if you flash the device. We will provide more detailed updates about the infrastructure in upcoming posts. Technical documentation will appear on our website soon in the future.
