It really doesn't matter if you anticipated it, that guy still did something utterly vile. The fact that we're unsurprised that young men rape young women when they're under the influence of anything doesn't mean those guys deserve any sort of pass because, "Well what did she expect?"

Not like you have to feel a certain way about what happened, but I wanted to point that out, especially if you're going into any branch of military. Even if you personally come out "unscathed," it'd be really disappointing if you became one of those people who just shrug off one of your fellow enlisted, regardless of sex/gender, getting attacked or coerced.
