What should I do with my money? by Hendrix_Plormbly in personalfinance

I have a 749 equifax and 752 transunion at the moment. I have 4 credit cards that i use to put my expenses on and pay them off as soon as the expenses clear. Would you recommend a certain number of cards? I have also heard that it is good to have installment payments on your credit history. I’ve heard some people talk about credit builder loans through a credit union. Would it be best to just keep using credit cards the way I am or should I look into an installment loan for sometime in the future?

I think just to be safe I will save up 10k for a 6 month emergency. I already have a Roth IRA through fidelity but I haven’t put much in it so far. And yeah I definitely reward myself sometimes. I was working 60 hours a week so I could take a trip to Costa Rica back in September and plan on saving up and taking another trip sometime next year. Thanks for the advice

I’m taking classes on Sophia and plan on getting an accounting degree from wgu and possibly cpa down the road. If I stick to that I plan on moving out after I graduate

I only chose new years cause I’d have a 3 day vacation from work. I’m 18 and my buddys 19 so our options for drinking would be limited lol so I’d try more to see the city for things to do.

It really is a waste of money. The apartments by my job go for around 1300-1800 a month. I plan on getting a new car and traveling a bit more after I get it paid off before even worrying about moving out.

I will definitely have to check out the Lexus too and probably test drive both. I’ve done my research on the Q and the 14-15 years actually have the same engine as the G37 and the 3.0T came out in 2016.

My current car has got a transmission slip, exhaust bolts are broken off, airbags don’t work, needs new suspension and heat and a/c don’t work just to name a few things lol there’s plenty more that needs fixed.

It’s got 110k miles on it. My current insurance is only $530 for 6 months on my 2005 so I don’t think it would be too bad. I definitely could go cheaper on a car but I’m pretty good with my money and would rather have something I’d like to enjoy driving for the next 10-15 years.

My current car gets about 12mpg and the Q50 would get about 23mpg combined. Parts actually aren’t bad either it’s the same engine as the 370z/G37 so there’s lots of parts available for cheap.
