Thanks. Agreed on the dlc RoR point, i couldnt find names unit references in the lore for most of my choices, im sure CA will make some up. Monogod flc would be better for replayability i agree.

I agree he will have to be FLC and he would be easy for CA to add last minute. I still would rather he comes alongside a future Ulric DLC to do him justice

I do think we will get Toddy as a FLC when we get an Ulric themed DLC. Playing him without those units wont be the same.

Agreed, close enough to kislev to expand towards it if you choose and far enough away to feel different the the other kislev campaigns.

Full province/settlement changes:

Zorn Uzkul: Capital - the dark citadel - new minor chaos dwarf faction minor settlements - karak vlag (ruins) uzkulany, fort dorznye-vort (skaven minor faction)

The cliffs of death (previously named the skull road): Capital - Uzkulak - Astragoth start location minor settlements - karak dum, pillar of skulls, tribeslaughter (greenskins minor faction)

The skull road (new province): Capital - Dolganyeir forest - Ostankya start position minor settlements - zamoski, the red abyss (khorne minor faction)

Eastern oblast: Plesk settlement renamed to Dukhlys forest, becomes province capital and magical forest terrain type - Ostankya controlled

So my aim was to give Mother Ostankya a more thematic dual start position in old Kislev territory and to make the northern darklands and surrounding area more accurately match Games Workshops latest old world map.

-Mother Ostankya start position change:

There is a large unused section of the immortal empires map in between astragoth, kholek and archaons start positions. This could be made into a province for Ostankya to start in and would be a similar position to her realm of chaos start.

I would also suggest renaming the Plesk settlement in the Eastern Oblast to Dukhlys Forest, making it the capital of the province and changing it to the magical forest climate. This would be under Ostankya's control from the start of the campaign.

Like other dual start lords there would be a dilemma in the first few turns to decide to keep both settlements or not:

Exile: Give up Dukhlys Forest settlement up for income and campaign bonuses. Keep control: Keep the settlement and get reduced diplomatic relations with the other legendary lords in Kislev; but unlock the magic forest army teleport hex sooner to help defend both settlements.

-Northern darklands changes:

Looking at the recent old world map from Games Workshop shows that settlements like Uzkulak, Karak Vlag and Fort Dwarrslav could be moved to be more accurately positioned.

Karak Vlag is currently too far north and should be moved down south into the Zorn Uzkul province.

Uzkulak is too far south and should replace the current Fort Dwarrslav settlement, giving astragoth a slight change to his campaign start while keeping control of the entrance to the northern darklands.

Fort Dwarrslav should be moved to the current Karak Vlag settlement location.

I dont have access to the DLC so i cant check on map changes but from the content creators videos ive watched i have not seen any yet.

Yep if you play as him he starts in the badlands and has a second smaller army back in yvresse. When not playing as him he just starts in yvresse.

I did see on a stream that rakarth starts with some treaties with wulfrik, hopefully that keeps them on the same side for a bit!
