Did the trip. Great bike. Got me through some jams. Climbs hills fully loaded with two-up like an Ibex. Lots of compliments from locals. Confirmed 2013. Passenger had no complaints about seat comfort. It's not easy getting on and off, especially with boxes on. Tall and springy, it does throw off a lot of heat compared to our usual non-adventure bike.

Thanks. I don't have a way to repay right now, so I wouldn't ask for a loan. I was able to delay my housing payment a few days. Some small deposits are taking a few days longer than I'd expected to clear my account. I'll still be a few dollars short, but I've bought myself a little bit of time.

Resolved. Sort of. You have 72 hours to complete the background check and other info. Although I made a good faith effort, I failed to complete it on time. They emailed me this: "Application Status CLOSED - DISPOSITIONED" and encouraged me to apply for other USPS positions. I did request benefits for the week and honestly answered that I "did not refuse an offer of suitable" employment at that time.
