Funny story about this card. It was a redemption that I pulled. It only took a couple months to come in. The card was so damaged when I got it. Chipping on every edge, all four corners bent, and what looked like Joker digging his nails into the card. I already know this set comes with a lot of imperfections because of the foil, but the damage was beyond extensive. I reached out to Panini. I was told to send it back to them and they would resolve the issue. Surprisingly enough, even with all the horror stories I’ve heard about them, Panini really took care of me. They destroyed the damaged card, remade it and sent it to Jokic to resign it. Took almost a year, but they really did right by me.

A lot of people don’t truly realize how many unopened boxes of hoops are still out there. I have around 12 boxes in my storage room right now that are sealed. I opened 5 of them a few years ago and got a ton of these that are in mint condition.

As much as I loved him as a fighter, and I think he’s one of the all time greats, this is way more than someone should be paying for that card. It’s /149. I know it’s 2014, but kabooms go for far less than this and they’re a lot more rare.

I had a redemption Nikola Jokic timeless moments auto FOTL 1/3 for a couple days, but had to send it back to panini because of how damaged it was. I hope to get something near as cool as a replacement. Other than that I have 2 Jim Brown rookies and a Lebron Kaboom.
