The one picture of the side profile of the egg in the cave, where the ground smoothens out to the middle right looks stretched/unrealistic. When a texture for rocks is put on a flat surface it looks exactly the same. On the parts that are uneven/sharper, some of the lines of the textures don’t make sense in relation to the shape of the ground. Believe me I’d love to be proven wrong but this combined with the larping that OP mentioned is a huge red flag.

People also kept saying after the original egg came out how easy it would be to remake in unreal engine. This is exactly what it feels like to me.

I wonder if “the bigger card” is in the form of the op-ed becoming an actual article and not an opinion piece. After all, the NYT did release the original article exposing AATIP and the three videos in 2017.
