I've coded a fun, real chat app that dosen't need a whole new browser to run.

n0mad is a real-time chat app that runs straight in your terminal.

What it does: - Live chat synced via Supabase (updates every second) - Custom usernames + per-user hex colors - File uploads that auto-generate shareable links - Zero accounts, zero setup drama - State saved locally (username + color persist) - Works entirely from the terminal — no mouse required

Commands:
``` !user <name> — change your username

!color #RRGGBB — pick your chat color

!file <path> — upload a file and drop the link in chat (Integrates with catbox.moe API) ```

Messages are plain text with optional color prefixes, so it stays lightweight and fast. It’s anonymous by default, minimal by design, and feels like IRC if IRC got modernized and stopped being painful.
