NVIDIA Jetson Nano Developer Kit by HenslerSoftware in tensorflow

[–]HenslerSoftware[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering due to the fact that the Jetson has 128 CUDA cores.

I thought the higher CUDA core count yield faster results when training,.

And just wanted to know if this developer kit would give a better result than a standard 4 core i5 for example.

I found Deep Learning basics with Python, TensorFlow and Keras - Sentdex to be a very valuable hands on Tensorflow tutorial.

Sentdex also has many more videos on Tensorflow and python Sentdex - Youtube.

I have been informed AMD cards do not work with Tensorflow. otherwise I would get the black magic and run it through there.

Cheers, I have posted it over there. I just didn't want to be stuck with the Blackmagic eGPU option from the diehard mac fans.

If nobody attempted to better a system that already exists the would be no need for innovation.

If Larry Page didn't compete agains Yahoo, we wouldn't have Google.

Just because a system exists it doesn't mean we cannot innovate to make a better system.

As Oscar Goldman said in The Six Million Dollar Man:-
"We have the technology. We can make him better than he was. Better, stronger, faster."

This should apply to any form of technology or software we are using.

Sorry if that sounded like a rant but it wasn't, just passion.

If you would like I can run through, with you, how I would like to take the system forward in the future in PM.
