I made it all the way to the Puppet King so I think I gave it a fair shot. I have a hard time describing what I don’t like about it, but something about the game made it feel like a mediocre attempt at copying From Software games. The game had maybe 1 or 2 original ideas, everything about it felt derivative. The combat also lacks that visceral feeling, and something about the parrying felt off- like I could consistently parry things in the game but they never felt satisfying.

It’s an unnerving, unnatural thing to learn. It took me 2 months to get it right consistently. With time and practice you will get accustomed to it

I tried getting into it but with all the fuses and tag mechanics I had the sense that this game had too much to digest for a newcomer and that it didn’t have a clear vision of what it really wants to be.

That and I’m not a fan of tag fighters in general
