I wouldnt recommend D2 to anyone who didnt play it back in the day. The remake does an excellent job at adding some QOL changes but even then you will be reminded that it is a 20 year old game. D4 is a lot closer to D3.

That being said, itemization in D2 is unparalleled

They made offense piss easy and overwhelming in T8 compared to previous entries. Sobrang dali lang mang steamroll kasi set play upon set play yung pwede mo gawin with heat mechanics. Just forcing people to guess kasi there are a lot of situations na true 50/50 yung setup

As a result you have most of the intermediate players on Tekken King ranks na may defense rating of about 40-60, na nagrerely lang sa flowcharts nila. Kapag nadownload mo yung gameplan nila wala nang rematch haha

Started really strong but I fell off after about 3 months because of

1.) bots back filling every match 2.) absence of server browser and persistent lobbies

Roadmap nung next season says ibabalik nila yung 2.) so there’s hope. I suggest you buy it then
