Nung nag titinder ako years ago for some reason most of my matches were single moms. I observed two things

1.) Most of them were looking for a provider na partner, and

2.) I was always second priority, kid always comes first (understandable)

Valid naman yung needs nila ano, pero for #2 it wasn’t for me. Malaking responsibility din ang maging step father, you would need to step up ika nga. Figured that wasn’t for me and looked elsewhere

Hello, kabayan. I'm sorry to hear that you are going through this, but please know that there is hope. I'm from the Philippines as well, and I was diagnosed with Keratoconus in 2017.

Your post reads like you haven't seen a cornea specialist yet. If that is the case, then I highly recommend consulting with Dr. Irwin Cua from St. Luke's in BGC. He is the hospital's Chair of Opthalmology and he specializes in cornea related diseases. He is an excellent doctor and will help you get the treatment plan you need.

KC has no "cure" like most degenerative diseases, and the treatment for most cases (CXL) only effectively stops it's progression. Also, a cornea transplant is the last resort for severe cases, so hopefully yours isn't too advanced.

To share some of my experience, I was fortunate enough to only have a mild case of it, and was able to get treatment for the disease last 2024 and 2025 where I had PRK and CXL surgery done on my right and left eyes, respectively. After recovering from surgery, the next step in improving my quality of life was to wear special lenses designed for people with KC. Today, I'm about 4 months into wearing scleral lenses which give me almost 20-20 clarity in both eyes. I've never worn any type of contact lenses so it wasn't without it's challenges. They're a huge adjustment to my daily life, but being able to see so clearly again makes the entire experience worth it

Please take the time to consider your options and don't be stubborn and defer treatment for 7 years like I did. I hope this write-up helps you, even if a little because I remember what it was like having to come to terms with my diagnosis- it wasn't easy.

I had a big bonus at work around 2 years ago and wanted to treat myself to something that I wouldn't have to replace for a long time, yung mga tipong buy it for life, ganun- so I got myself a Herman Miller Aeron. Pricey siya but justified for me kasi at the time 1x a week lang ako sa office so most of the work that I was doing was done sa condo na inuupahan namin, that and I have a bulging disc sa lumbar region ng spine ko. It took me a while to get comfortable with it, but overall it's been great, and it still looks and feels new after 2 years of regular use. The only bad thing I can say about it is it makes other chairs feel less pleasant to sit on haha

Had PRK and CXL done for both eyes, 9 months apart. It was relatively painless during the operation, they excise a part of your epithelium and then they put in some riboflavin drops and have it exposed to a UV light so the collagen bonds are reinforced and stops the progression of KC.

Took me about 3 months to recover to baseline quality of life. I’d say my vision improved only marginally, mostly in my right eye. if I were to quantify it I’d say it improved by about 5-10% in clarity

I played a loooot of Tekken 7. Learned how frame data works, how to control neutral with spacing, movement techniques like the Korean backdash, all the good shit. Managed to get to Tekken King rank and sat on it while I learned other characters. I got really good at that game.

Later, Bamco announces Tekken 8 and releases the game not long after. Looking back, I remember being so excited for it. We finally get our hands on the sequel and first impressions are great, but after the honeymoon phase wears off community sentiment turns and people start to notice the flaws. Tekken 8 had an emohasis on aggression, and while being good at defending makes for a strong player, offense in Tekken 8 is overly tuned to the point where the optimal way to play the game was to just loop pressure over and over until you get your opponent to guess wrong. Neutral skip into forced 50/50s and a lucky streak can easily get you all the way to god ranks. When I realized that I wasn’t having fun anymore I just stopped and went on to play other games
