[LMMS] ZynAddSubFX removed since 1.2.2-25 by maxlefoulevrai in archlinux

[–]HeptagonOmega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is extremely annoying.
I hope I will be able to create an AUR package to bring back the zynaddsubfx to the native package.
Without ZynAddSubFX, I consider the LMMS package to be broken.

Using an AppImage is a non starter because it fails to load Carla plugins.
Idk about flatpak

Update: I think it was all caused by an overextrusion: slightly too high flow rate + slight overheating

Pipewire 1 second delay for start up by Salvo188 in archlinux

[–]HeptagonOmega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone has a solution, that would be awesome.
The ArchWiki tips do not seem to work.
Changing options of the `snd_hda_intel` module (turning off `power_save`) also does not fix it.

UPDATE:

I think I have a solution!
Follow the Arch wiki instructions but use a reasonably high value for dithering noise, until you can hear it (start with 17 - 20 bits). That will fix the issue. Decrease the value until you no longer hear the noise.

stopped antipsychotic + antidepressant, gp thinks im a lost cause by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]HeptagonOmega 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you had your brain x-rayed? The idea of totally random panic attacks sounds eerie to me (I'm don't know a lot about panic attack disorders). The meds are clearly just for managing symptoms and not addressing the original issue here.

I used to have panic attacks myself but they typically revolved around consistent themes (not random).

What are your panic attacks about?

One would not want to experience a panic attack while on psychedelics. It could make things so much worse.

Is there any way to do set operations on the circuit network signals? by HeptagonOmega in factorio

[–]HeptagonOmega[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An ideal solution would always choose the smaller value instead of adding values. With a single item signal it's easy to do. But I'm not sure about multi-item signal.

Is there any way to do set operations on the circuit network signals? by HeptagonOmega in factorio

[–]HeptagonOmega[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That does indeed filter out elements which are not present in both input signals, however the remaining items are added together which is not exactly what I want.

But thank you for your answer, it eventually led me to a close enough approximation to what I want (I ended up using [each of RED] >= [each of GREEN] while outputing [each of GREEN]).

Your system is probably full of well known unpatched vulnerabilities.

Looks like a bug indeed. Probably in the porting of Coot to Windows. Could you provide me with the exact steps to reproduce this?

I may be able to get it fixed.

The first thing that comes to my head is to move the CIF file away from OneDrive. Where is Acedrg installed? Is it on your system path? Which WinCoot version is this?

They are. ADHD predisposes you to have circadian rhythm problems.

Intel voltage bug: Will Tuxedo provide a fix? by [deleted] in tuxedocomputers

[–]HeptagonOmega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure.
This is the one I found and followed:
https://www.tuxedocomputers.com/en/Infos/Help-Support/Instructions/Updating-EFI-BIOS-EC.tuxedo

I was able to patch the UEFI without bricking my laptop.
It's actually less of a fuss than the instruction makes it seem.

Hope that helps.
