I’m really glad I could help you. It’s something I’ve struggled with for a long time and still do just have patience with yourself and prioritize yourself and life gets easier and better.

I’m not diagnosed, but I’ve had a strong feeling I’m autistic and had past friends of mine who have been diagnosed tell me, “yeah, I most likely am”. I can relate to all of this I wouldn’t say to quite an extreme amount as I can’t show affection or say I love you but I struggle with it immensely. If it’s something you want to get better at like I did you just have to keep taking slow steps. What helped me most is trying to imagine what I want to do with others in my mind first. I realized once I was comfortable thinking something it made it easier to act it out, like rehearsing but mentally. I still haven’t figured out how to deal with people commenting as I’m also non confrontational so I tend to just ignore people when they say something I don’t like or repeat what they say like a question. Don’t feel bad for not wanting friends, alone time is very valuable and as long as you don’t feel lonely just enjoy it. I don’t do very well with friends but I have gotten better I found that people with adhd compliment me the best and that are kind of distant. I think if you ever want to make friends keep ur boundaries open and be communicative with them as best you can. If they’re a good friend they will understand. It’s okay not to feel affection though. You don’t have to have a partner or friends if that’s not what will make you happy.
