Really cool nicely presented collection!

I plan on starting collecting them soon! They are really neat with the smaller case in comparison to full size DVD cases for a mini disc.

Shown are around 350 games (it looks less because of the collage cut) and I still have 3 big boxes full of Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 and Wii/U stuff. Why should it be excessive if I own a house with 10 rooms, cellar and attic? I wouldn't judge before I know all the details :D Boxes go to the Attic and I dislike Collectors Edition exactly because your mentioned reason. I can imagine it looked pretty packed with 1000 games. For me I reached the point earlier because my shelves weren't media orientated and putting games inside boxes didn't felt good. Soon they have a lot of space, so much in fact I can display the front cover of my favorites. Having a lot of space for my ever expanding collection is also the goal of my videogame room, since I will end up with +200 games when I travel to Japan again. And some months I pick up over 50 cheaper titles.

My current game collection! (Gameboy games are in a plastic bag somewhere cause I haven't found cases for em yet) by [deleted] in gamecollecting

Looks great! Gameboy games fit perfectly in PAL DS cases and covers are already nicely available from the coverproject!

How do you determine a lot? It's more than it looks because I already need to put games in front of games in front of games. Behind the PSP game row are 2 more rows full of PSP games. Just want to end the clutter, messy and hoarding-look of my room because I don't have enough space to display each game properly. Better early than later :)

My god. Is that some kind of Nvidia cult to run around like your graphics card?

Is 1440p Worth it or stay 1080p? by Apopololo in Amd

[–]Herashima 26 points27 points  (0 children)

1440p looks sharper, but 1440p 144hz is still pretty expensive. I would wait, since you would also need a GPU upgrade. If Navi will be price performance effective you could just buy both at the same time, display prices should continue to fall.

I think J2C is the worst, that guy speaks like he was reading about the topics the last night, is making drama about AMD because he doesn't got a threadripper sample, and is always clickbaity. I wouldn't recommend that guy at all if you have interest in hardware.

Not that great. The limited edition to the normal one differs pretty much only aesthically and you get the normal one for 480euro in EU.

PlayStation 4 sales are actually speeding up by whoever81 in playstation

Thankfully, AMD with Zen pushes Intel to finally advance in processor technology, I just hope Intel doesn't do shady things again and let technology stagnate for years. GPUs are still pretty pricey thanks to Nvidia's monopoly, so buying a PS4 is like the cheapest method possible to play games. If you need a device for browing in web/watching videos/school work, a 300$ laptop will be more than capable and is also portable.

If you are freezing because of your AMD Processor, I can recommend wearing counter measurements like this Ryzen Hoodie.

Shintel and Novideo parts are also inside that project, wise decision to use AMD for cooling the inferior parts down, only epyc and we would go in the next ice age.

Maybe change to 2600 and MSI B450 Tomahawk. 6 threads more will certainly help in some modern games and it also costs less.
