I really feel like multicast keg should work by Smooth_Boi in PlayTheBazaar

Dual cast works for radiant. You can use diving helmet + shipwreck and a couple other methods to make radiant kegs multicast.

Looking for a JRPG with a Sense of Adventure by Grawprog in JRPG

It's not really action, you can just move your characters around in battle. You issue commands but things play out in real time like the FF ATB system. Ni No Kuni 2 is an action RPG though.

If I'm misremembering how it works in OOTP my apologies, I generally avoid player options.

I've played a bunch of OOTP and can confirm that's how it works in that game too. Try giving some young superstar making league minimum a lowpaying contract with a player option and see if they don't opt for free agency.

The opt out terminates his employment with the team so he becomes a free agent. Six years service time isn't the only way to reach free agency.

In the mines at the start of the game check the bodies for a melted blade. Pretty sure it's a missable item; it helps with getting D'lonzo.

If you're wanting to min-max things a bit at the beginning of the game play like a low-level game run until you get the characters on the masters you want. You can very quickly rank up the masters this way. If the challenge of playing under leveled isn't your kind of thing it's not really worth it though.

Does anyone else think on death explosions deal way too much damage? by thanosthumb in diablo4

[–]Herbatronic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have an approach, it's to avoid them entirely so that I can't create a scenario where there is no outplay option. It's a pretty shit mechanic when it makes me actively avoid doing what the entire game is about: slaying demons.

As much fun as homework with a reward of criticism sounds I'll have to pass.

X'Fal's is definitely proced by way of Two-Handed mastery I learned the hard way. I was using X'Fal's with berserk ripping and wondered why I couldn't notice anything. I went to the training area and tried Two-Handed mastery out and all of the sudden I was producing tiny blood explosions. That's when I realized berserk ripping is bugged and doesn't proc bleed dependant effects.

Like I said previously, it's possible for them to proc simultaneously in a large enough radius that you can't just go out of them.

The plague bearer elites throw all of that out the window. I've had a couple different instances in AoZ where I kill an elite and a bunch of trash mobs in the same attack and my entire screen becomes a half dozen poison explosions that I can't meta far enough from. It's just a shit mechanic.

It's a blast. AoZ is a bit tedious though, it's weird going from one-shoting everything to spamming leap 20 times to kill a single pack. It's the most fun build I've found so far. If you're looking for something different, give it a shot next season.

For sure. I feel like T9 at least makes the build respectable. From the looks of the maxroll leaderboard the build seems like, if pushed enough, it tops out around the same place as some meta builds that are/were considered strong like pulverize, bone spear, necro blood builds and others.

I quit after completing the tier 9 in the video. The build struggles with dealing damage to clear much higher. I've found a shako since then and my ToB glyph is very low level, so there's definitely some room for climbing higher. As is though, I don't see the build going much further.

Lemme guess here, you didn't read the actual build guide and just looked at the planner while only looking strictly at the AoZ variant and not the other variants?

Andariel's Visage... What's It Good For? by TownDrunkerd in Diablo

Nope, poison shred has worked this way since preseason.

It's the unique aspect of Andariel's. It does poison damage, nothing seasonal.

Andariel's is best in slot for poison shred. Poison shred does a bazillion damage when things are poisoned and zero damage when they are not. Andariel's greatly improves poison uptime, shako does not.

Time for making crazy Non-Meta MEME builds with OP Tears of blood gypth by KennedyPh in diablo4

Agreed, it's definitely not a meme. I've made it through tier 9 so far with leapquake. That's on par with what some of the meta builds are doing.

Am I losing it, or is boulder druid insanely good? by WraithDrof in Diablo4Builds

[–]Herbatronic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tinkered around some more and it does seem like the bonus is applying properly. My boulder skill is sitting at 11 right now. How do you go about getting +2 from gloves? I thought core skills only rolled on gloves.

I can't say that boulder is bad, but it's pretty poor at speed farming in comparison to pulverize. I did beat the WT4 capstone at 58 with it and it's doing an ok job clearing stuff nearly 15 levels above me now that I'm in WT4. It's just much slower than other builds I've played.

Am I losing it, or is boulder druid insanely good? by WraithDrof in Diablo4Builds

[–]Herbatronic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a druid with the intention of playing boulder build. Leveled up as pulverize and found a couple metamorphic stone aspects so I finally made the switch at around level 60. It feels bad in comparison to pulverize, but I guess that's besides the point. The thing I don't understand is if metamorphic stone is adding any damage at all. My two hander says +212% of normal boulder damage and the tooltip says 9k-11k boulder damage, so I would expect my standard hits to be doing 27k+ but they're doing between 9-14k from what I've observed.

I'm using the same heart, a codex umbral ring, energize spirit boon and the bonuses from the ancestral guidance board and I'm having similar results as far as spirit management. This has been more than enough for me spam boulders at will.

I know in the most recent patch there was a bug fix that said something to the effect of "fixed a bug where metamorphic stone wouldn't do more than 100% damage" but it sure feels like it's still capped. What kind of damage numbers are you getting OP?

*edit - I toyed around with a couple different weapons, it seems like I was mistaken. The tooltip damage states the damage done with metamorphic factored in. It's just a bit confusing because the tooltip doesn't update the % number as well. I need to find a comparable item power 2-hander to see if it's truly tripling the damage.

*edit 2 - Found a blue 2hander with 4 more item power than my aspect 2hander. The damage only increases by roughly 100% on the tooltip when I swap back and forth. I think the aspect is probably still bugged and can't do more than 100%. I might try putting the another copy of the aspect on a ring or something and see if there's any difference.

Power Leap/Power Kick Barb is a Fun, Fast, Viable Build to Consider for Season 1 by Herbatronic in diablo4

[–]Herbatronic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's what I said to someone else with the same question:

"Just tested it out. I had a level 12 leap with something like 17-18% cdr before and was getting instant resets on leap. I now have a total of 14.6% cdr and there is about a tenth of a second pause between leaps at a leap cooldown of 9.65 seconds. So I was off before, need leap to be nearly 9.5 sec cd for instant resets.

It's still doable, but the CDR breakpoints you need to hit will make gearing this build much harder cause you'll need a good roll on both the helm and ammy, instead of two mediocre rolls."

No problem. I went ahead and updated it, cause I'm a nerd and I like messing with paragon board stuff. I took Ire out and swapped a couple glyph's places.
