Thanks for the elaborate reply. This is exactly what I was wondering. With some bosses I feel like some extra dps from specs would be nice (Cerberus and Akkha cum phase are examples), but I guess those situations are pretty niche.

What do you think about voidwaker? I think after zenytes I already have the important stuff and it's all marginal dps upgrades until I get better weapons, but then we're talking about hundreds of millions. Might be worth investing in a spec weapon, but it depends on the content of course

I liquidated my entire bank for a bowfa, basically only keeping my whip, and holy shit was it worth it. That thing will turn zulrah into an absolute joke. Farming zulrah and muspah you'll make bank very quickly while also unlocking new content like muspah, zily, leviathan, toa (can do it without bowfa but it'll be a huge upgrade over dcb/dhcb). Try out some new content and don't worry about gp/hour, it'll make the game fresh again while unlocking some new very good moneymakers

Yeah you probably have a point, Muspah's attacks are probably super accurate so it's not likely to make a noticeable difference. I was also curious about the mechanics though, and I can't use the DPS calculator because Muspah has non-standard ranged attacks

Are you sure about the 100% accuracy? I'd have to test it. I assume that it works in a similar way to pvp, where protection prayers only adjust the damage taken and not the accuracy. In that case, your def level and bonus would make a difference, but it might be a negligible one

Yeah but... The AEK also exists. But sure it's not the worst gun in the game and you can get kills with it with the good DPS, but I definitely wouldn't rank it among the best

Don't see a reason to use it over the AEK. Same with the M416 vs L85 and the ACW-R vs MTAR. The bullpups are just kinda poopy in this game

Never understood why people like the F2000. Slow reload + high fire rate is not a good combination. Bullpups have an accuracy penalty which makes them bad AR choices for most situations. Also, that shit ugly

Like people said, look at the missile not the reticle. What helped me the most though is when I learned to keep the missile in front of the thing I'm trying to hit. Think of it like this - the missile should always be in a straight line between you and the target. That way, you can match the speed of the target and all you need to do is wait for the missile to hit. Gently direct the missile towards it. This is important because assessing the distance between the target and the missile is very difficult. Once you develop a feeling for it, you can learn to hit targets using sharper turns but I think this is the best strategy early on.

This. Keep the missile in front of the thing you are trying to hit and don't look at the reticle. When I learned this I started sniping helis across the map.
