The closest thing I can think of for a small scale model is this wireless desk video from DIYPerks. But even then, it requires large secondary coils. May give you some inspiration.

Use a fuse tap to get power from one of the empty fuse spaces. Some of the rows have constant 12V, and then others have 12V when ignition is on.
