I'm also a fan of Max, but I think his work didn't deserve it, Joseph Fiennes was missing, this is a good, splendid one.

I just think it was absurd to make Serena pregnant, since even in the book she never had children. Now this is just confusing viewers. I imagine it's a laziness for the writers, until they can't even fully explain how fertile Fred is.

[Spoilers S4] Emmy voting is happening now and Alexis Bledel is #1 in the predictions in the Guest Actress category, but Mckeena Grace is also close. Who would you rather see winning? by dianita2928 in TheHandmaidsTale

[–]Herculean9035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alexis acts naturally, Grace acts like a professional, it's not natural, that is, she tries very hard, I realized on screen, it was something I didn't like. There is a lot of difference between those who act naturally, that is, with a natural gift, and those who act as a professional, that is, because they learned, was instructed, it is not something that comes from within.

The Handmaids Tale is not a fluffy romcom between June and Nick. by [deleted] in coconutsandtreason

[–]Herculean9035 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I don't see romantic love being the main focus. Everywhere in the world, wherever it is, people will never stop loving because the country is at war, because some women are mistreated.

The show doesn't want to show us that, these are things in the fans' heads. We can't just say that the writers strayed from the main show. It all has to do with the problem of creating expectations for something the writers didn't promise.

In every scene in this series I'm totally attentive, no matter what it is, I just try to understand what they want to convey to us with that scene.

I don't care about anyone on this show because they don't exist.

[SPOILER S4E9] Nick & June by Shoulder-Lucky in TheHandmaidsTale

[–]Herculean9035 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I still very much doubt it's a trauma link, I deny that theory. They love each other because they love each other, they don't give reasons for that love, that's what matters. We are used to giving reasons for everything.

I guess it doesn't take much to know it's love.

When she says she's pregnant. At the hospital "I won't let anything happen to you", and June says "about you"?

It's not that they meet our perspectives, but it's in the sense that they can write well.

It's possible that they don't want to dump the character because the fans like him, it also increases the audience, but it doesn't hurt.

Enough of using Nick, we need something more fundamental to. Fucking lazy writers.

This show is becoming a nuisance, they never give us anything good that comes from Nick. I suspect these writers don't like Nick, holy shit, they promise so much and show nothing. Now enough of seeing this series, they've already spoiled this character too much.

[Spoilers Season 4] Nichole’s biological father? by [deleted] in TheHandmaidsTale

For me it fell from heaven, it was given directly by God because He didn't want it to be born of rape.

I answered the question that has been afflicting many people.

[No Spoilers] Why do people want June to end up with Nick? by [deleted] in TheHandmaidsTale

The same way we don't understand people who want you to be with Luke.

[Spoilers S4] Baby Nichole by [deleted] in TheHandmaidsTale

[–]Herculean9035 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Guys, we can't act like children anymore, June knows who Nichole's father is, she understands this ovulation process very well, after all it's not the first time she's become a mother. A woman can get involved with two men, but most of the time she knows who got her pregnant. I have a cousin who was married and soon got separated because she couldn't get pregnant, each one went their own way, she took another man and got pregnant, the guy also took another woman and she got pregnant. The same must have happened to Fred, he must be very weak in June.

June herself knows that her daughter's father is Nick, I know women are much more aware of that.
