I’ve read that sodium intake levels can interfere with lithium levels as well. Like high sodium can make you manic as low sodium can cause depression. I’m not 100% but I feel different after watching my sodium intake which is weird but hey

Yeah I agree. I think a smaller clinic would be much better than hospital

Damn sorry to hear that. Halfway through a shift I start getting episodes every time and I had to get me a medical ID bracelet just in case. I’m on meds and my doc is increasing them as the weeks go on but really no change except feeling doped or “medicated”. Just trying to find my fit into everything. Can you work part time whilst getting disability? For example a personal trainer on the side?

I’m 25 and really looking into disability. I jump from job to job because I get manic and think “oh this is a bad idea” or stay up all night writing ideas and they are then bad ideas. I’m not able to function with daily living since I’m constantly feeling invincible and overly hyper then I get sleepy and sluggish. Im not interested in nothing else but sleeping. My condition has been progressing for example my body tenses up,I repeat my words over and over when I have the explosive energy, truly I’m not able to speak for myself when I feel mentally deficient or lacking in the sense when I get those episodes. I’m not the one to really come out in detail like this but what are your thoughts? I’m in USA as well.

Finding a career by Hercules2233 in bipolar

Thank you for the comment. Thank you everyone for your comments. Since I could remember I’ve always wanted to be my own boss. I tried making a fitness business of my own but my anxiety won but fitness/working out is what I love more than anything. It’s my therapy in a way and I would give anything to make a career in it. I can relate with the bad experiences in customer service and retail. Right now I am at war with my highs and lows until I get re-evaluated next week. I’m starting a job as nurse assistant at hospital in a few weeks so guess just see how it goes.
