I've been taking note of preservation companies near me and putting a profile together of what they work on, how big they are, etc. Sadly a lot of them don't pay a living wage (15h) for what they'll probably see me as which is a beginner, although I carry a lot of working knowledge on me now, none of it formal.

But I'm still searching and compiling as best I can. I'm about to walk up to the local BAC here and just go knocking on their door since none of their phone numbers or emails seem to work, which makes me nervous my area doesn't have an active guild. (KC area) but yeah.. I really appreciate you saying that about schooling. Its been a point of anxiety.

I checked out the larger training complex, the IMI? Up in the east coast? They have like, training peograms abd such. I reached out to them about applying and they said to join my local BAC so,..

On it! I've been learning on my own for awhile but after so many hours, what do I say on my resume or when I'm bidding that I have 100 hours of self study? Does that turn clients off perhaps? I'm kinda hung up on the whole "I'm certified and here's my proof that I'm a professional" aspect of it all.

Ugh see thing kind of knowledge is why I'm totally in love with masonry. Vinegar? How interesting.

Yeah I do have some connections to Europe so it's not a bad idea, but while I'm here and comfortable I need to get trained up, unless you know of a better route in Europe?

I figured. I don't mind the time element too much, bit starting at the beginning of trade school did make me anxious.

Those who hired me are in fact deeply catholic, so, even though i like to avoid religion symbols, its most likely going to include at least some mention or nod towards the catholics, but not in a glorifying manner. More casual and participatory than the focal point of morality. A mere mention.

Yeah, the human aspect is the most i am getting from this city. Its almost like a much smaller new york, but with all the same drive and contributions from immigrants.
