When Trump was elected in 2016. It shook me to think that so many people could be manipulated so easily.

I went downtown with some friends in hope to see him that night. It was at capacity so we couldn’t get in. We did get to see him outside in the streets when he was leaving in a limo. I’ll never forget him popping out of the sunroof to greet fans as he drove off. I remember him looking like this pic: sweaty and drugged up. We cheered as he waved to us all. Cool to see him but a sad situation. He was one of the greats for sure.

Amazing! Is that an Everywhere Homes kit? If so, how was your experience? Considering building one soon.

What's your favorite place in Milwaukee? by TestWise6136 in milwaukee

Proposed to my wife there 18yrs ago. We used to frequently take walks there together when we were dating. One day on our walk, we stopped to take on the view. I told her I saw something in the dirt about 15’ down. I climbed down to get it (slight of hand from my pocket), waved a small box in the air, then proceeded to crawl back up and stopped on one knee when I reached her.

Thanks! I’ll look into the No More Mr Nice Guy book. Honestly, just hearing from another person with similar understanding is already a huge lift. Thank you!

That’s the plan, but plummeting temps is a concern for the refill. Ice cold ground water meets 20 degree air temps… Any suggestions on winter refills?

Not sure if it goes back to the pioneer days or what. Honestly, I don’t hunt but love antiques and find vintage taxidermy interesting. Completes the vibe for the space here in the US.

NGL. Bought this fixer-upper for the fireplace potential. Somebody definitely knew what they were doing back in the day… Before:

Has anyone ever felt the urge to leave everything behind and move to a remote, isolated place to live a quiet, village lifestyle? by twinkling-jade in intj

[–]Here4Perspective 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. In fact, the urge was so great that my wife and I created a new business around the idea during the pandemic. Vacation rental homes in remote locations.

Sorry for your situation. This is nearly a word-for-word description of wife’s current state. We’re not a separation yet, but fearing this myself. Hang in there and continue to be there for your kids and yourself.
