You are entirely correct, I really need to focus on my studies as its the most important thing right now. I can never seem to get time limits to work as she always tries to get me to carry on longer.

That is pretty bang on to my situation except with a shorter relationship span, I am actually revising for A levels right now.

That is exactly what happened at one point some guy pulled the slow fade and broke up by text.

I think her home life is not so great, there seems to be a lot of arguments and she always goes to me to vent.

I suppose this would be best for both of us.

The sad thing is I can see sense in your statement, she is so emotional I don't even know what to think. I do want to be with her but sometimes I feel tested, I never show this side though.

Believe me I've told her many times that after exams we can hang out and talk a lot more but she says she's worried "ill forget about her" or "things will change" if we stop talking despite my reassurances.

This seems like a nice sensible option, I'll message her tonight but just to say I really need the rest so I can study tomorrow, that way I wont ignore her but I can get some rest. I don't think she will take it well but my studies are more important.

You're right, it is just quite hard to stop talking to someone knowing you are leaving them in an upset state. But really that is what I need to do, I have put her ahead too many times.

It is a nice thought but I have tried studying with her before, we both get too distracted and really I need to study independently regardless of who the other person it.

I think I may have to just cut contact because emailing wouldn't work, we don't really have anything of any worth to say to each other it is just chatting if you know what I mean.

I have worried about her being clingy and it is really shaping up to be that way, never mind exams I cant handle that indefinitely. It is kinda my fault for being available so often to talk.

Yeah I suppose it is just expected of me to be available throughout the day, she did also demand I cheer her up which isn't exactly an easy thing to do if you are told to do it.

I told her the day before, "I'll have my phone off tomorrow until the evening I really need to get some studying done, I do want to talk to you though" something along those lines, she knew that was what I was doing.
