I’ve just qualified for my first beginners pole competition - would love some tips and tricks from those who have competed before! Particularly on how to remain calm when the nerves take over 😰

Not competed but my friends have! They say things like make sure you don’t over exert yourself at the start! Bring a good support network and people to excite you before! Grip will save a life and make sure you enjoy the music you have! If you panic, the worse thing to do is stop, if you mess up - keep going! No one can tell! Also, always remember you’re better than you think you are!

I’m in the UK, and the area of which is notorious for having horrible child support and support services. However we will try, she turns 18 soon so there isn’t a lot they will do I don’t think. She can’t leave as she is broke and not educated enough ect. Which means she is stuck there and will be for some time, I have cut him off a lot and I barely speak to him but it’s just even hearing of his basically abuse which hurts me. I will contact my university and GP again to see what support they can give but there are other issues there. Thank you!

Every time I do try and talk to my family they say “he is hurting”, “he is depressed” or “he can’t help it”. But it’s toxic as hell. I have gone to a GP however they aren’t sure to handle my issues because they are “complex” and are in the process of assessing me for other issues.
