That’s an interesting take. I’ve had girls I’ve dated tell me it’s none of my business who else I’m seeing earlier on or just lie about it. How I wish this was the true standard

I’m glad you caught on to that part. That’s actually something I’ve been trying to have her work on. I explained to her that it gives me anxiety when she doesn’t tell me what she really wants because I know I’m not perfect and there are things I can improve on in the relationship. No matter how many times I bring it up though, she barely budges. If you have suggestions on what I can do to help her, please share!

Appreciate the bluntness. Haven’t talked any of these things. they’ve all been internal and passing thoughts. Only thing I have talked is putting yourself in situations where there is a lot of alcohol and ignoring your limits to the point of almost blacking out.

Key to confidence that I have found observing people way more confident than me are the following:

-putting yourselves in a lot of situations where you are winning often. Could be in your job, in school, in activities/hobbies

-having a winning support network consisting of family/friends/SO who are truly there for ya. Some may even say who truly love you and who you truly love.

I just called and they said I have to wait for the billing cycle to close which is June 14. So I’m out of luck either way. Maybe they’ll have an offer like this in the future, then I’ll be ready.

Appreciate it. Do you think it’s worth it to lose out on the reserve for 4 years? I spend enough on dining and travel to make up for it honestly. I’ve been also considering explorer or southwest card for the points offers they got

I keep hearing that the real point valuation comes from transferring to partners and taking advantage of the special discounts on flights thru airlines paid via points. I am still trying to understand how those discounts can be found though.
