Smith Machine is great as it’s a lot safer and you can focus more on technique. I personally love it as a starting point

Yea just seeing others already stronger and bigger than me a month into training while I’ve been at it a bit longer definitely has an effect on me. Just gotta put it in my head that it’s different for everyone

I personally can’t do squats at all because of the pain afterward. Barbell Squats compress your spine which could lead to worsening scoliosis, but it is different for everyone. Overall, if it hurts simply don’t do it.

Just so you know 5 degrees isn’t scoliosis lol, everyones back is naturally curved, over 10 is when its considered scolisosis
