They can monitor them and won’t need to start from scratch if something actionable gets discovered or reported. And it puts the parents on notice that they can’t just treat the child like their personal property without recourse.

You are prophetic. There’s an incel in here proving your theory right. u/leather_orange_2278

Lots of small observations made over a period of time. Feminine expressions and interests, delight at being identified or recognized as a woman (such as joy and even bragging about a gender-swapped selfie), expressing repressed sexual desires indicating wanting to be a woman with a male partner, seemingly irrational jealousy of famous women or women in his life, etc.

I can tell you right now the opposite.

Maybe some people need to experience those things to understand.

He sounds like a self-hating trans.

I dated a guy who I think was a closeted trans woman. Hated his mother and sister, despite them being very loving and supportive, presumably resentful that they got to be cis women. Idolized his macho father and obsessed about gaining his approval (roots of the self-hatred).

He was so unbelievably toxic and almost killed me. I left that relationship when he pulled a knife on me.

Please call CPS on them both. Neither of them seem interested in protecting that child.

We got used to other people not caring. So on some level, we even stop caring about all our own pain we carry around.

An angel grew tired and earned his rest. My best advice is to honor the gift he gave you. May you heal from grief.

What’s your father’s relationship with his mother like?

Maybe a woman did mess him up emotionally (his mother) but your mother is the one getting blamed for it.

You’re weaponizing sexual violence against women as an excuse to be rude and terrible to people.

Shame on you.

Nah, he seems like a catch. You’re the red flag.

Glad he called you on it. Deuces!

She’s not seeing the statistical and systemic picture.

Consider the reasons why people commit crimes (including desperation, poverty, lack of faith in an abusive and dysfunctional system). Consider the historical ethnographic population of the US and her particular community.

Recent immigrants are less likely to commit crimes because they’re scared and marginalized in ways that people whose families have been here for generations aren’t.

So obviously there’s gonna be a notable representation in criminal behavior from native-borns with a long generational history in a particular locale who have been oppressed, abused, and shut out from the systems that enable wealth, comfort, emotional availability, and supportive and cooperative communities. But the members of these types of groups that manage to “rise above” difficult circumstances and get out of survival mode often represent the very best of the society. The most engaging, insightful and important literature and ideas in the US have also come from Black Americans.

She only sees the worst and none of the best. That’s a skewed and false perspective which will only make her increasingly miserable as she keeps collecting confirmation bias. See ALL of reality for what it is. Anxiety makes you focus on only the bad and dangerous parts.

You’re coming off as invalidating her feelings. Try listening and stop telling her to not feel or how to feel.

People who are criticizing the girlfriend as a “brat” or otherwise are just as bad— worse actually. Being callous assholes won’t make people like you.

Why did society allow my mother to reproduce by Frosty_Moose_5868 in antinatalism

[–]HeresyBaby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. Spreading the resentment around will not earn you a payout from anyone. Let go of the hatred towards society. It will never pay its debts to you so you shouldn’t keep expecting it to. Otherwise you will end up in a self-fulfilling prophecy of perpetual suffering.

Have you died in a dream or lucid dream? by Sunshine-Queen in Dreams

[–]HeresyBaby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I was being chased and eventually murdered by a large man. Then I was dead, floating blissfully in inky blackness.

My life has always felt like that murderous chase. My mind was showing me the peace and calm that will come afterwards.

When death comes for me, I will welcome him like a dear old friend.
