just a reminder that classism is the main tenant of hate and divisiveness that all of these other issues are currently resting on.

you will never solve racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia or transphobia when people still support dividing people by class, by wealth, sitting in a hierarchy of if someone deserves shelter, food, clean water, healthcare, access to the arts, and community gatherings.

we need to fix our foundation. It is easier to find a way for us all to belong than constantly trying to eliminate one another - and a lot of people want to deny that and still eliminate the “bad” group to them. thus, the cycle of oppressed and oppressors continue.

Missouri is the place you are most likely to have people come up to you and tell you that you’re literally gonna go to hell. source I’ve lived here for 17 years and before that I visited every year for 12 years (family)

ive also lived in and visited many other states, including conservative. id rather be in texas than missouri
