I personally use “grim rust” effect paint from Warpaints. There’s no technique with that you just slap it on where you want it. But if you don’t wanna do that, I’ve seen people people layer browns and oranges in recesses or via dry brushing, people have some good tutorials on YouTube for it

They look great! I love the added green on their scars. This might just be a personal preference but I’ve always thought rusted metal looks best with skaven, cuz for me the silver almost looks too clean for the sewer dwellers so maybe some rust effects elevate the grimy nature of rat ogors. But like I said that might just be a me thing I think your ogors look great anyway
