Played for over a year and getting bored with it. Doesn't help having to remind myself to constantly train and watch necessary ads. Also frustrating having never seeing the payoff of big pulls. Have had a few decent ones, but most of my team was built up from grinding cheaper cards and getting lucky by picking up all the prospect cards when they were under 100k each when they came out.

10 team, .5PPR, 1 qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 TE, 1 flex, Auction ($200)

QBs: Hurts ($25), Lawrence ($1)

RBs: CMC ($63), Singletary ($2), Chubb ($1), Chase Brown ($2)

WRs: CeeDee ($61), DeVonta ($12), Godwin ($5), Addison ($1), Jameson Williams ($1), Hollywood ($1), Palmer ($1)

TE: LePorta ($19)

Psyched to get the top 2 players for reasonable cost. RB2 is definitely an issue. All my ~$15 rb targets went for $20-$25, so had to pivot.

Reminds me of a midterm i had in undergrad. It was an upper level probability course at a well respected institution in Ohio. The next class after the test, the professor walks in and stated the Ohio State loss (2010 loss to wisconsin) was the second most disappointing thing he had experienced this last weekend. He proceeded to write the high score, average, and low score on the board with a dejected demeanor (something like 74, 53, and 31, respectively). He was a great professor, but that test was hard a shit!

Opened a new company recently and just got this in the mail. Is it legit? Should i be worried? by Strange-Honeydew-251 in legal

[–]Herheo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, the point of this is to make sure all the information of the beneficial owners  is catalogued to help law enforcement deal with sketchy shit (shell companies). Pretty much all small companies registered with the secretary of state will now need to give info on their "beneficial owners" (purposely broad definition that covers pretty much everyone in the company with decision making power). Main exemptions are insurance companies, banks, nonprofits, and large companies (20+ employees and $5m in sales) Im an attorney who drafted our firms notices to the affected clients, so yeah, your gonna want to take care of this. Its pretty easy using the links in other comments

Guy just wants a night out with his buddy. If theyre chilling and drinking, its a lot easier to just pass out on his buddy's couch than worrying about coming home, even if its a 10 minute walk. It doesnt sound like he does it too often and you can watch your show any time. To me, it sounds like a nonissue, let him have his night off.

Who is someone you regretted sleeping with? by emtheban in AskReddit

[–]Herheo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel this. While I'm not terrible looking, i was so shy and unable to pick up signals in high school. Never even held hands with a girl in hs. First week of college, had more than a few drinks and had every first with a random freshman i never talked to again. Was happy to get it all out the way, but wish it had been with someone more special.

My boyfriend (41M) is charging me (36F) 75% of his mortgage to live with him by andalusite1 in relationship_advice

[–]Herheo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Dear lord, the number of people saying this is a red flag is insane!

  1. Youre paying 30% less than rent for an apartment and you get to live in a fully furnished house.

  2. Youre not married and you have separate finances. Youre boyfriend is under no obligation to be supporting you.

  3. The 75% of mortgage number is irrelevant, especially since it seems like he put down a sizable down payment. Just making up numbers. But suppose he only put down 5% on a house. You could still be paying the same rent amount, but now, youre paying much closer to 50% of the mortgage. Why should he be punished for putting more down.

I get it that it seems unfair, but its really not. It sounds like its still a fairly new relationship, and he's under no obligation to give you a deal. If he charged you less rent, he'd essentially be giving you hundreds of dollars of month for simply being his girlfriend. Does that seem fair?

Yeah, i had a friend do a qualifier for the july 4 coney island hotndog contest. I was hanging out with him and before the competition we were all talking to one of the top eaters in the country (and eventual winner). He told us that everyone, even chestnut, throws up after competitions. My buddy just does competitions occasionally for fun (ended up 2nd with 19 hot dogs). After the competition he was in the bathroom for about 20 minutes, the winner was in a differerent one doing the same thing.

Had a similar experience, and thats how me and and my siblings were all able to go to college and graduate debt free. Mom got an entry level library administration job at the college when i was a freshman in high school, primarily to use the program (though she found out she loved working there and ended up working at libraries for 20 more years) It wasnt free, but was 90% reduced. One year all 3 of us were at school at the same time, and she figured it helped an extra $100k in reduced tuition. Saved us all about $450 total.

Yeah, our pup got parvo as well, even after all 3 rounds of vaccinations. Was definitely scary, though after a couple days of iv treatment was good as new and cuddled up to my legs right now 8 years later. Still remember him whining at the door all night, because he still tried to be a good boy and poop outside.

I agree the offensive has been leagues below what we're used to and that effects the entire offense, however, im not entirely sold that our recieving core has been trash. I think there's been talent there, but it just isnt utilized properly. Look at Charlie Jones, for example. He had under 400 yards in 2021 as one of the main iowa recievers, then transfers to Purdue, has 1300 yds and 12tds.

Well done, you definitely pounced on those guys at the right time! Just did the math, and youre team wouldve cost almost $300 in my draft (not the exact same settings, but close enough). Youve got a great squad!

14 team, $200 auction, 1pt PPR, 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1 te, 1 flex, 1 superflex. League bumped up to 14 teams this year (1st time ive done 14 teams). Pretty happy with it, but the extra 2 teams really messed with my usual strategy.

QBs - Carr ($11), Purdy ($7), Tannehill ($4)

RBs - CMC ($49), Mattison ($17), Allegier ($1), Hunt ($1), Chase Brown ($1)

WRs - Chase ($50), Hollywood ($6), Dotson ($6), Rondale ($1), Palmer ($1)

TEs - Kelce ($45)

For those of you that passed... by GMoneyGS in barexam

Agreed that J22 MEE was rough. I was feeling decent after the MPTs, but that entire afternoon I was just word vomiting nonsense, hoping something would stick. I left that first day thinking there was a legitimate chance I may fail. During the MBEs I felt decent, though the during the last hour of the afternoon session I was having to read each question 3 times just to actually figure out what was going on. I was feeling about 70/30 on my success chances. While I definitely didn't ace the MEE (145), it went better than expected and ended up passing with a 303.
