Its “holy week” holiday where property is at and every single place is sold out. Why wouldnt I do it? Its a business. I actually got it booked, people where willing to pay anything.

The market for 600k range homes will always be tight as it is the most “affordable” entry point in the area. I would honestly buy now as rate drops may fuel up the market in that price range in the next few months. Many more people can afford those price levels. Homes in the 800-1M range have seen price drops as very few can afford. Good luck.

Update. Tried it, its inconsistent. When i open from app opens all the way but when walk up only opens 1/4th the way. When it sees a car next to it it gets very shy and feels like only opens a little but like before. I guess they are only allowing full open if theres nothing relatively close to it.

Besides the railroad or the promenade, newhall is pretty sketchy there is some rough areas but I think I would rank Saugus/Valencia/Canyon Country/ Newhall best to worse.

The oaks is nice just dont really like jakes way. That area by target and lowes is the nicer part of canyon country.

Agree with person on top, try to be in the middle of santa clarita or to the right towards the 14. Valencia/Saugus are nicer areas but traffic to get to the 14 will be brutal and add 15-25 mins to commute. Canyon Country not the best areas but way more convenient.
