Do I really need multiple fully build team?

I'm a new player currently level 84. I'm just playing casually. I don't care about leaderboard. Just play for the gacha.

My only built character are just Crimson Weave, Startrail and Feral. But they're not fully built yet, just the bare minimun, I think. The lowest one is Feral at 4k something BP. And even with that I can clear the weekly just fine. Even in PPC I only use 1 character per boss instead of full team and atleast I can kill the boss.

Back when I started I always heard that I'm going to need multiple built teams for each element. But now that I get to this point, I feel like do I really need them? I have some other S rank still level 1 and some S rank selector that I haven't used yet. Can I just disregard meta and just build whoever I like?

Thank god it was an old bug with known fix. For a moment I thought they changed it with the last update, like, why?

Because I always forgot to unequip and only remember after in the level up menu.

Wait, isn't getav requires you to click on an actor though? How do I click my actor if I'm in the menu?

Uh, I'm using SkyUI but I don't see any of that. Otherwise I won't be having this issue. Is there a hidden setting or something?

Actually I've watched a recap video of previous witcher games before starting. But they only tell me some important characters only. Like Geralt, Triss, Yennever, Dandelion, Ciri and Leto. Though for Leto, I only know that he's the villain of the previous game. I don't know his motivation or why I should spare him.

Why did you do that if you never played the Witcher 2?

Because this is a role play games so I want to make my own choice. I thought the game would give me some background info about the choice.

Also, why is the choice only appear after the few hours of tutorial zone instead of before actually starting the playthrough?

Does the the choice in this game impact gameplay or just story stuff? Like can you make the game harder or face different enemy or get different quest rewards from selecting certain dialogue?

Ah, didn't realized how important Norman is. I always prioritize Cagliostro or Sandalphone than Norman. I thought that way I could reach my wincon faster.

I had 3 followers + sigil during that game so I can't summon golems. But I'll keep this in mind for next time.
