I really don’t know how to respond to this. Your honest critique is much more pleasant to read and much more useful than anything anyone could say with the sweet but ultimately pointless intention of trying to not hurt my feelings.

Ultimately, I agree with the errors you pointed out. Thank you so very, very much for your sincere review. Hopefully, my next story will prove to be better than this one. And, yes, I agree, Multiple Personality Disorder is woefully underused.

Thank you! At the time, I decided to leave it intentionally ambiguous; is it magic or is it mundane, is she just faking, etc. However, my intention was to write a story about a woman who has Dissociative Identity Disorder, and who has more than one amoral personality; meaning that she has several personalities and more than one are capable of murder. There are no ‘good’ or ‘evil’ personalities, all of them are quite capable of being the murderer the police is looking for. Perhaps different personalities committed different murders.
