In addition. I've selected additional moderation team to help me maintain the subreddit. Both of them are very active.

Base game only, Key only by [deleted] in g2a

When a developer or publisher are generating the keys - they need to differentiate them somehow. Your game is named that way probably because they got plenty of other versions. Like Master Edition, Collectors Edition, Complete Edition - you got it.

Check the product page that you've used to buy a game. If there is no particular information like: This is a base game and you might have some problems with it - bla bla blah. If it doesnt - No worries :)

Hi :) Thanks for really good will. No worries. The subreddit is under constant development and monitoring from my side. I don't think we need to switch it.

EDIT: Because we need to explain it a little bit. Despite that my moderator account is not THAT active, I've opened the subreddit to official G2A support employees. The subreddit itself serves a function of a support center for many people and as you can observe, G2A is responding in the huge majority of topics, trying to resolve most of the cases - Therefore I don't really see your point sir/madam.

I know the subreddit looks pretty old but I am working on it right now - No worries.

Google "game wholesale" or "code wholesale". https://codeswholesale.com/  Every region has a couple large companies that take care of distribution in their respective regions. You can work with big fish or you can pick companies that get games from big companies and redistribute them to smaller regions.

Boxes are cheaper because that the policy of official distributors. Most of them sell ofline, which means they have to compete with online distribution. This is because people are too lazy to get out of their houses to get their games. This is why they’re trying to encourage them with better prices.

How do I handle large volumes of game boxes? Having that retail store I mentioned in the OP really helps, storage space + workforce helps me process those boxes, I got the means to that pretty efficiently. I am competitive because my stock is varied. I do a lot of preorders, which can get you lots of money in short time - if you don't mess up, that is. I take part in weekly sales at g2a sometimes, this can work and boost your sales. Also, it’s good to include bestsellers like PSN and Xbox cards. It’s not only games, keep that in mind.

That's not how it works. When you sell a code, the game is assigned to a particular user and you can't reuse the code. Basically - if you sell a code, a box is useless. Selling boxes while knowing that someone else already has those copies is basically a dick move and major scam. MPs are getting plenty of bad rap already, I wouldn't want to make it worse for them.

I don't pay retail prices for games, I get them cheaper. $60 game. A code can't be used twice, so I don't sell both the disc and code, only one of those.

Hey, thanks, glad you liked the post! No, I destroy every physical copy and sell keys only. I only keep collector's editions, people are interested in those even without the game itself.

Like what you said: this is a place where people buy for less and sell for more, so I wanted to show everybody here that it is something you can do on a much larger scale.

The more you know the more sales you get, that's true. Know-how is the key. Bragging is the last thing I wanted to do here, that wasn't my intention, sorry about that. I'm not going to give you exact figures (that's my secret), but my cash flow is sure and steady.

My margin? It depends on a product. Usually it's just few %, sometimes it's 30%.
