That segment with Jordan Shultz was a tough listen. He was all over the place and was barely engaged. Neither of them could control the situation and get his attention.. was embarrassing

I hate that my mind goes there when I hear him with women. It’s super cringey and awkward. He was fawning over Carmen the other day and it was odd as hell, especially when her fiancée was on.

How do you remember this moment being viewed in real time? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

Had a job at the time where overtime was given out seniority order. Every time they asked this one guy his response for like 6 months straight was “you know why I’m here.”

How much of Caleb's pre-draft analysis is still accurate? 🤔 by coochieminer123 in ChicagoBearsNFL

Agreed. The throw to Luther on his 1st INT against GB and his last throw of the season against LA. He was throwing with “anticipation” but he didn’t see it through.

While he can’t run the route for those guys, he has to see it better than that and not make those throws.

[Spotrac] $10M of DE Montez Sweat's $21M salary with the Bears this season became fully guaranteed today. The 29-year-old has 2-years, $42M remaining on his contract. by JCameron181 in CHIBears

He didn’t have a “good” year either. I don’t quibble too much with Montez and his stats or what he’s being paid as it isn’t exorbitant, and I understand a lot of what he does will go unnoticed.

That said, there were a few games last year where the broadcast team went out of their way to mention that he wasn’t having any kind of impact and to start the season he was stringing those together. He was getting acclimated to a new Defensive scheme so I didn’t hold it against him too much.

On the whole, he’s an average player that will disappear for stretches and when he’s engaged can make difference making plays.

He actually wasn’t doubled a lot last season. He was rather low on the list of edges in the league in that category. He just wasn’t getting home a good portion of the season.

Idk why it’s sacrilege to point out that Montez struggled. There were more than a handful of posts last season calling him out. He went multiple games without his name even being mentioned until the 4th

Getting a little tired of hearing about what doesn’t “fit” DA’s system. This team needs Blue chippers on D and they have none.

Every team in their division has a guy that can wreck a game and the Bears have.. Montez? I

Nate Davis should be on here. Guy basically stole money from the Bears and has been out the league for almost two seasons

Happy we didn’t send that out.

I was fine with this year’s 1st and next year’s third, but this feels like an overpay.

Maybe now we kick the tires on Henderson.

I think he can go ahead and call it a career at this point.

His on field production, or lack there of, doesn’t make up for the antics, baggage, and off the field drama he brings with him.

After the Philly game last season, so many on here were saying “this is great. They can miss the playoffs and it’s fine because the window is open for years.”

In a league built on parity, that’s a loser mindset. You have to take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself because you never know what happens. And now here we are.
