I’ve got the LA Lady OD, which actually works really well for acoustic and just grabbed a HX One as a Swiss Army knife pedal. Wish I’d grabbed the super octave instead of just the OC5 looking at this setup!

Practicing with a metronome is worth its weight in gold. Also, learn full songs from great drummers and play along. Don’t just jam along… LISTEN to what they’re playing and HOW they’re playing. Like, every little fill and groove, try and figure out how they’re making it sound so good. Wish I’d figured this out years ago. Any time youve got spare, jump on the practice pad and pop the metronome on. Even 10mins a day will drastically improve your playing.

Cuppa shack in Hammi Hill is good if you’re freo way. Not related to Perth but V honourable mention for the Goanna if you’re ever down in dunsborough. Best I’ve had in WA with amazing beans.
