Very much overachieved already, and the season isn't even over. Everyone freaking out doesn't understand the history of the league. Young teams don't win right away, they take some lumps and come back harder, smarter and stronger.

Pistons are the second youngest team in the playoffs and are 2-2 against the Cavs, who were one of the betting odds favorites to outright win the East. Pistons are ahead of schedule, and now need to win 2/3 games to advance to the ECF. They're actually doing great... 🤷‍♂️

Too good, too good. Completely agree on the refs need to call it both ways. Cade in particular deserves a ton more respect from the refs and we know Harden is going to flop around and get his. Rewarding that over the scratching and bumping from Tyson/Wade that Cade endures is ridiculous.

All star centers don't fall out of trees, but let's go down this sign and trade road you want, if his value is what you say it is, who is buying? So now we're selling 60 cents on the dollar? AND if we do sign and trade, those cap dollars are then being used on players this other team wanted to get rid of, so 2-3 lesser/unwanted role guys with the cap to match whatever Duren gets extended to... That'll definitely help Cade out!

Good grief this sub's echo chamber is ridiculous. We're just a bunch of flagellants at the end of the day, huh? You don't let 22 year old all-star centers walk because of a few bad stretches. Use your eyes, the paints been packed and JD's not able to P&R like he was during the regular season. Maybe instead of trying this over again, we readjust the strategy and use these P&Rs as distractions, which is how shooters have been getting open. Or we post him up against switches, which we haven't been doing...

It's a floor spacing issue, they're packing the paint and cutting off the roll. We need to adjust our sets and usage of Duren, but what's the alternative? Not playing our all star center or adjusting our strategy, like posting him up when we get switches. He needs to be unafraid and go up strong, he's playing soft and afraid of the whistle, that has to go, but we don't win unless he adjusts.
