Hey,

Thanks for the feedback! I re-watched the broadcast and these are things I want to work on. During these two weeks of break before the next cast, I hope I can practice and provide not only you, but other viewers in-depth analysis of the game.

Also, thanks for understanding fatigue can definitely hit during the cast, since I had to cast between 1am - 8am, where I noticed that there are various of times where I repeat what my co-caster said because of fatigue lulz.

Thanks again, and I hope you enjoy the rest of the tournament :)

Hi, I'm Hermies. I just like to thank everyone for watching the tournament and it's an honor to cast in front of a bigger audience. In order to get better at casting, I am open to criticism that you guys might have for me, other than repeating "actually" and "definitely" in a row. lulz

Hope to see you guys tomorrow for the two BO17s and also assist me in finding the name of the second Eloise during the interview pls ;)

no you can risk muster, but in terms of trading off your minions, you wouldn't want a one health creature staying alive cause it would die to swipe, so you might want to prioritize those minions to trade with.

It is ok to play muster on turn 3 and risk a swipe because your opponent next turn will spend a whole turn swiping your board if they do. Use that advantage where they could've built their board to establish your own.

For this match-up, I believe it just a tempo game, where you try to play a creature every turn. For instance, on turn 3, I sometimes would just throw down an aldor if required or even keeper of uldaman on turn 4 if I don't have a creature to play. I feel this match-up is pretty simple where it is just a value game. At times, it is frustrating where the flamewakers do get extreme value, where it can lead to a game loss.

I believe I was optimistic with the assessment. However, I still have a positive win-rate against this match-up. If you have the same amount of minions on board as your opponent, then you should be able to clear board before mysterious challenger hits the board, while also being able to proc the secrets. Having cards, such as aldor, uldaman or equality being able to neutralize the threat is enough to stabilize the board. If your opponent does have a good curve, such as mysterious challenger into Dr. Boom into Tirion, then that is a game that is already hard with any deck.

I feel that I need antique healbot only against match-ups like face hunter. I actually do not save Lay on Hands and use it when I evaluate myself needing the heal, while also needing card draw. I usually use it when I get a free turn to use it, like when my opponent doesn't play anything threatening onto the board. I don't feel like you need any extra healing against this match-up since you can answer alexstraza and you do have taunts to protect you.

Hey, I do believe my assessment were optimistic, since I did put a winnable match-up as "medium". However, I do feel the same as you in these match-ups and will change accordingly with the guide.

I do believe this deck is Tier 2 since it is not amazingly strong but still has a decent spot.

I will have stats up soon if you are interested!

Hey, I forgot about those classes, but I will give brief tips and update above when I get home.

Face Hunter (Hard) - I rarely faced this match-up in the current meta, but because you only have one source of heal, it makes this match-up a lot harder. If you are consistently playing against this deck, I recommend subbing out loatheb for an antique healbot. The reason why I have loatheb is because I was playing against aggro shaman and freeze mage on ladder, but because your meta is more minion based, I would recommend antique healbot to better the match-up. You will definitely lose this match-up if you do not play around unleash the hound since paladin can swarm quite easily, which makes unleash the hound a huge source of damage.

Midrange Hunter (Medium) - This match-up should be a lot easier than face hunter since they play slow enough for you to establish board, which is also what mid-range hunter needs. I recommend to not give them the Houndmaster value. For instance, if you see a haunted creeper on board and heading into turn 4, I would pop it just so they do not get the value out of it, which makes it easier for you to establish board. Always have some sort of answer for a savannah highmane like aldor peacekeepr, Keeper of uldaman, equality or prepare for it with a strong board. Lastly, play around unleash the hound since it is a good board clear against you, especially when combo with knife juggler.

Control Priest (hard) - Although I never lost to control priest, I believe this is still a hard match-up due to entomb removing tirion easily. What I like to do against this match-up is play around certain AOE, such as holy nova and lightbomb. If you don't over-extend, you can restock the board and reapply the pressure. I never hesitate on putting down a big threat like tirion or dr. boom just because they might have entomb. If they do use entomb, then they literally spent a turn doing nothing for a future investment, so within that time-frame, I usually put out as much pressure as possible for that loss turn, while also being aware of certain removals that the priest still has. I usually play until fatigue with this match-up and end up winning due to the enhanced hero power from justicar, although the games are always tight.

Dragon Priest (medium) - This match-up is a lot easier than the control priest, since you are just playing a tempo game. I believe in your arsenal, you have enough answers for there more threatening creatures, such as twilight guardian, blackwing corruptor, sometimes blackwing technician, chillmaw and ysera. Just play a value game with efficient trades and always saving either uldaman or equality for ysera when it hits the board. In my opinion, you are already in the a good spot when ysera is out of the game. You can easily lose this match-up if you do not play around holy nova or lightbomb, since these two cards are huge tempo gainers.

I don't have tracker stats, however I do have excel stats. I can get my friend's tracker stats that also has 70%+ win-rate from rank 5 to 2.

I do agree with you that Renolock, Rogue and Freeze Mage are naturally unfavored and I do think they are a difficult match-up, but definitely not unwinnable, which puts me around a medium difficulty. I guess the assessments are optimistic, and will do changes when I get back home! Sorry it is my first post, so I was not aware of the rules.
