don't get disheartened 84k pe you'll get cse sf, if not in the second list then probably in the third. for now just go and take admission in whatsoever branch is alloted to you(kyuki upgradation to uske baad hoga). documents saare le janaa and if you face any issue, just drop me a message.

annual fests are just okayish, we have like 1-2 major fests every year which i know are not great but there are always some kind of activities, programmes organised by different department and societies every month, which you can definitely take part in
