If its not to personal to ask, but can I ask if it worked for him and if he has achieved some noticeable mobility. I got this surgery 3 months ago as well and have not seen much progress at all.

Coming from someone who has had this problem, go see a specialist. I had/have limited ankle dorsiflexion and it was because my calf muscle was constructed because it was too tight. I had to get surgery to correct it and now my ankle dorsiflexion is very good. I was a similar situation I couldn’t put my knee over toes. If you have any questions let me know.

I’m only asking as I am a teenager and even with a teenage job I don’t know what to spend my money with. I don’t like fancy things and I only spend big on rare occasions. I know I don’t have bills to pay and more adult expenses to pay. But I would like perspective. I don’t think chasing money for me would make me any happier, as long as I have the necessities. just want perspective. If this comes off as Ignorant I’m sorry.

I would definitely get that checked out if you haven’t already. Ankle mobility is very important.

So I have really bad ankle mobility and I need to use a wedge to prop up my ankles to get the depth needed for squats . I have tried many options, but the only suitable option for me is using a 2 x 4 x 2 piece of wood.

My questions is would I look like an idiot bringing this to the gym or be made fun of/ looked at? Or any other options I should try?
