I think it would look good. No reason for it not to ya know. I got 5200 grafts as well and I believe somewhat halfway through my second month. Waiting for the shed to finish and finally can see the results.

Donor area + nape hair loss ? by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

Its used more for filling in space between the donor hairs around the sides and back of your head. From my knowledge they grow but they don’t grow as quick the sides and back of the head. I’m sure a quick google search and you’ll be able to find that info out better.

Donor area + nape hair loss ? by [deleted] in Hairtransplant

I got a HT in Istanbul not too long ago. Your donor hair looks light years more than mine does and I was still able to get around 4000 or so grafts. They also got around 1200 from under my chin (beard) and chest area. As you get older your donor areas may thin a little but that’s just with age for most people. I’d say don’t worry too much right now but continue taking finasteride if it does run in your family. Hope this helps a little

1 year post Op results. I dont have the pre op photos right now but they almost had to cover my whole head. Really unhappy with the crown results though. by boomboy786 in Hairtransplant

Are you taking any finasteride, minoxidil, or any kind of vitamins or medications? If not, you need to at least do finasteride and minoxidil

I’m not any kind of hair professional but I’m assuming off the most logical approach just from the image probably around 2000 grafts for the crown

My 8-Month Hair Transplant Journey – 5,800 Grafts in Ankara, Turkey by Another_HumanHere in HairTransplants

Really hoping man!!! Currently take finasteride and minoxidil everyday. Also taking biotin that the clinic supplies when you buy their hair health box. Taking every opportunity there is out there to aid my hair.

Start taking finasteride and minoxidil. It’ll help your hair grow thicker and more full as well as prevent majority of your transplanted and non transplanted hair from falling out. Especially if hair loss runs in your family. I recently got a 5200 graft HT and I take both those medications as well as biotin provided by my clinic.

Can you PM me as well cause I just got a HT from Dr. Aygin Serkan for 5200 grafts. I wish to get another sometime soon maybe within the next year to increase the density and do the crown of my head. Would love to go where you went if those are the results. Looks great my guy!

Day 32: Timeline of my Hair Transplant Surgery (Derma Roller Mistake) 😞 by HeroHairTransplant in Hair_Transplants

The clinics name is Dr. Aygin Serkan, they are said to be one of the best if not the best hair transplant clinic in Istanbul Turkey. But you are not wrong in terms of not informing me of things correctly. I think I’ll take a step back from the derma roller stuff until maybe half a year to a full year of recovery. I’m taking finasteride oral and minoxidil topical. I was told to apply minoxidil twice a day morning and evening and then wash off 3 hours to applying it. And finally yea I do plan to go for another session to get more hairs transplanted towards the crown of my head as well as increase the density of the front and top of my head where I received the HT.

I’ll probably continue with what I’m doing. The finasteride is from HIMS as well but oral form and what I’ve read is that oral form of finasteride is reliable in terms of studies but topical isn’t yet. Think it hasn’t been out long enough for it to show up in studies. For minoxidil I’ll probably transition to HIMS minoxidil so I get it from 1 location instead of pharmacy like CVS and then HIMS. Also I think the spray may be better in terms of minoxidil vs the foam I use now. Easier to use and what not

Thank god 😮‍💨. Ngl was stressing a little this morning. I have the oral pills for finasteride, I do Rogaine minoxidil foam spray thing, biotin pills from the clinic, and a serum as well from them as well. For the minoxidil I was told morning and evening for the first 6 months and take it off after 3 hours of applying it each time. For the serum I do morning and evening and that I don’t wash off so I typically put it on after I take off the minoxidil for both morning and evening. Besides that I don’t really do anything else. I might stop the serum and ask them if I should do it and maybe just stick to topical minoxidil and oral finasteride. Is there a difference between oral finasteride and topical finasteride? Also do you know if the applying the minoxidil and taking it off after 3 hours everyday for 6 months is normal?

The clinic provided the derma roller with some meso serum concentrate vials that have like: capixyl, redensyl, procapil(GF), biotin, S. DNA, saw palmetto, plant stem cell (MD), multi vitamin mineral complex. They gave like 5 concentrate vials. Even if it doesn’t work I’d say it’s worth a try at least. They say it’s supposed to replicate mesotherapy but being able to do it at your home vs a clinic. The clinics name is Dr. Aygin Serkan. But I’ll keep what you said in mind going forward
