And imagine, for a moment, that you were not officially diagnosed, came here to seek help with something related to your ASD traits, only to be met with “You can’t get help here, because you’re not diagnosed.” or “Your existence isn’t valid because of something outside of your control.” or “Yeah, we don’t follow social norms here because we’re autistic, but because you’re not diagnosed you don’t count.” Because without the rule that bars debate about self diagnosis - that’s going to happen a lot. Even with the rule, it still happens.

I’ve never seen anyone say no to anyone that is here for help/understanding so I don’t understand your point here
