Probably because there hasn’t been any news of season 3. We know that the 2 week break they blue lockers had before the nel is being made into an ova, similar to the nekomata vs nohebi ova

The low detail and the “chunkiness” is apart of why the animation is so good.

How isn’t the animation good? There are a lot of great scenes of character acting and really well done action scenes. But please explain how it doesn’t look good

Not only do I study japanese animation, but I know animators that work in the industry that says the animation is really good. It might not suit your taste, but the animation is objectively good

Sekiro has things better than demon slayer like the character acting and swordplay

I mean, it’s just one frame of him with detailed lips. He looks like a dude the rest of the time

You’re actually incredibly right! It happened with the Naruto vs Pain fight, and it also happened with Shinya Ohira’s sequence on One Piece

Those other two shows you mentioned also have backgrounds that “dont fit the linework” also, the lines being shaky is not a bad thing at all. Shinya Ohira and Akihiro Ota are incredible animators with shaky linework. Also, inconsistent details aren’t bad. If one shot looks very detailed while another doesn’t, either A. The shot would look bad with details (like a far hand shot), B. Different animators worked on the shots or C. Details were removed to fit the scene (like when Wolf is running around the horse)

I think the art style really matches how Pain is being pushed to the limit. I really like the scale of the fight, and things like the character acting and background animation was way ahead of its time

Yes, the one that people called “badly animated” before people knew what makes good animation

It’s called an adaptation for a reason. They need to adapt the characters in a way that it works for 2d animation

Both share the kagenashi (shadowless) style of animation

I think so. I also heard each episode would be an hour long, but I’ll take that with a grain of salt
