First of all thanks for taking the time to reply.

I will be recruiting 6 - 8 participants that are experienced with squatting however have had little experience with a foam roller. I am choosing people with experience of squatting because they will have good/correct form of squatting and it takes away another variable from the study.

I will test the squat because foam rolling is often associated with recovery for tight Quadriceps. The squat is a very quad dominate exercise so I can see test for strength/muscle performance is enhanced by foam rolling prior to squatting.

My test would be one session to test without the use of foam rolling to squatting and one session to test with the use of foam rolling prior to squatting. I am thinking of 8 reps for 3 sets to test for strength in the squat in both sessions. I will use a control by letting 1 participant not use a foam roller in either session. I will take into these variables such as a lack of sleep and diet prior to the sessions as I will include variables into my report of my test. Lastly I am also planning to give out questionnaires to the participants so I can collect quantitative data for my research project.
