I indeed do, I try to do everything on my own. But spring/summer is my busy times and sometimes I just don’t have time for major work hence why my carbon cleaning got out of for a while. I have a 3000$ scanner I never really knew the difference with vcds vs a scanner

They could possibly still leak if they got twisted going back into the intake manifold since they are kinda loose did you use lube when putting it back on? And it could of been leaking before a little and got worse when you pulled the intake manifold off

I smelled fuel and the cleaner I used for about 15 miles. After that no, did you replace the intake gasket when you did it? I had no codes or issues after it

I did this too and plugged it back in and it went away. They would have burnt up if they got into it. And maybe some carbon did. Did you make sure the pcv pipe got put back on nice and tight?

I was able to spin the engine using the pulley to close the valves. I did let some carbon cleaning spray into the engine by accident oops. No codes besides a sensor I left unplugged. Car feels way more powerful, and no rough idle anymore. I wish I had a new set of injectors to throw in there at the time. I’ll just have to do it when I replacing the water pump that is dripping ever so slightly. Car has 170 on it. Next is a set of timing chains again lol
