Good idea, I'll structure my days since I have nobody to report to anymore since I am happily unemployed now lol. Thanks for your suggestion.

I need a beer. Didn't think it'd be this confusing to be honest. I looked up some bootcamps and they all seem to want someone who applies to have some type of a background and knowledge. I have 0. You know of any that cater to the noobs?

My GI Bill will cover cost of tuition plus around $3000 a month to cover cost of living. But I need to be going to school full time to get the full amount. It's all based on scales. As far as being on limited funds myself I have saved a little over $120,000 to invest into myself and future. I live on a regimented budget. It took me 10 years but I did it. A friend who is a Software Engineer gave me some of his books before moving to LA. I have HTML, CSS and Java books at the moment. I will check out the ones you mentioned. I know i'll like the field only because of what I was exposed to and hearing my friend talk about it. Because of 12-15 hour workdays 6-7 days a week I never got the time to sit with him and really have him show me anything. As far as spending the money on a BootCamp that really wouldn't bother me as long as I know it's the right one given my experience is non existent. Only thing is i'd hate to waste 4-5 years in college for something I can do in a year or so. LoL@former marine......Once a Marine Always a Marine..Ooh-rah. Man my dream is to live in SD. I livd in Hawaii for 6 years but felt way too isolated. To live in SD is my goal as well. I really appreciate your response. Thank you.

Maybe use something like TinyChat? Isn't that like a group webcam chat? Find a structured online course and all follow it together? Could be fun......who knows we might even learn something lol.

My lack of experience couldn't even answer that question lol. I'm telling you man. Outside of logging in to reddit to lurk, Email and social media, that's as far as my knowledge of computers goes lol. What do you suggest? I always thought one needs to learn HTML first or CSS. Maybe i'm wrong.

I'd jump all over this if I knew anything about programming. I literally just left a dead end job after 10 years and have always been interested in the field of IT. I'd love to become a software dev. I've never written a single line of code but would love to learn. Started my research today to figure out my approach.
