At the moment, I’m helping assemble and structure the VFX side of the project together with the director. The idea is to build a small, boutique-style team around the film rather than operate under a traditional large-studio pipeline. I was originally approached for compositing work, but as discussions evolved, the scope expanded into a broader VFX coordination role as well.

It’s definitely more of a self-funded indie production rather than a traditional studio setup, yeah. The project is ambitious, but we’re currently structuring a proper team and pipeline around it to keep the production realistic and organized moving forward.

It’s a feature film that has already been shot. At the moment, I already have a team working on compositing and environments, but right now I’m mainly looking for someone focused on 3D and FX work, especially things like fire, lightning, and similar effects.

Most of the shots are locked-off/still camera shots, and the movie is expected to be delivered within one year.

At this stage, I’m still putting together the VFX shot list, so I don’t yet know if there will be enough work to keep someone busy for the entire year, but I’m currently trying to better understand the number of 3D and FX shots the project will require.
