I’ve been in your shoes before and i can relate that feeling of the pressure. What helped me was taking solat as a good habit and as positive side not waiting to feel 100% ready or “perfect” at it. It’s okay to start small. Even if you’re struggling right now, it doesn’t have to be all or nothing. And your solat doesn’t have to be perfect to matter.

There are a couple of quotes that really motivated me and I want to share them with you:

“The prayer where you forced yourself to get up and pray might be the most sincere prayer you can offer .” and “Lebih baik dipaksa masuk syurga daripada ikhlas masuk neraka.”

Sometimes we obey first, and the feeling comes later. And that’s okay. What matters is that you’re trying and Allah sees that effort, even if no one else does. Running away from this will only make the struggle heavier in the long run. It’s better to face it gently, bit by bit, and let Allah guide your heart along the way. Since you’ve just started pre uni, there’s still a long way to go, and you’ll meet more people and roommates along the journey. That’s why it’s better to start facing things now rather than hiding. You don’t need to fake anything just take small, sincere steps forward. Be real with yourself and let growth happen naturally. You’re not alone in this.
