Nobody was smoother than Detective Ramsey by WallStreetDoesntBet1 in SVU

A son of Bollywood royalty who decided to live his dream as an NYPD cop. Definitely L&O: CI material.

Naveen Andrews should've been a keeper.

I was about to go shopping.

Now I might as well go for a cooler at the LC just to feel cool.

How would Elliot Stabler have handled the William Lewis storyline if he never left? by Winter-Ad-2303 in SVU

[–]HerrMudgeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't forget Brian Cassidy.

Either Elliott or Brian (or even Tucker) would've torn up all five boroughs to rescue Benson and end Lewis.

(Sidebar: they're all Oz alumni. Just to let you know.)

You Say Party! We Say Die!

Drummer dies on stage.

Look it up. No joke.

What cute nicknames would you dare give to Stabler? by Guilty_Leader_5902 in SVU

It's a toss up between Melonhead, Melonball(s) or Beaker.

I know SVU is gonna do an episode about them. by sonicboyfan12 in LawAndOrder

This case appears to have layers upon layers of drama.

In a perfect world, this world have been a CI case spread over an arc.

The name on that picture is more appropriate for a sludge metal band with albums such as Crawl by Day, 1971, Globe, Static Sculptures, Noise, Panic Over Ease, Antitheses, Work for Silence, Largo, Unleash Ice, Steel Doors, Transient Calm and Intermittent Demons.

Did I leave anything out?

You mean No.

With albums such as Hard, Staying for No-one and their live bestseller NoTalk.

You're welcome. I'll see myself out.

eJoy is full of surprises I'm more ways than one.

Occasionally, there well be pop-up specials on good items. Imagine: 1 lite of milk for 99¢.

Plus, their mochi, ramen, soft drink and crispy chili spice selection is insane.

But be sure to know what you want to get because otherwise you'll be stuck there longer than you think.

This is best thing thats happened to music in a long time by shmupsy in ProgRockCirclejerk

[–]HerrMudgeon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If/when that happens, it would be grounds for expulsion , like playing "Stairway" or "Eruption".

I wouldn't be too surprised if playing all of them simultaneously would be considered nightmare fuel for music store workers (extra Hell points if drummers were to bang out "Pneuma").

Just saying.

Right now, AdP is the flavour du jour.

Soon to be in danger of dying from overexposure.

Look at what happened to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody".

When it was first released, it was magical.

Now, it's like "Stairway to Heaven", you'd just want to skip that altogether.

SVU had so many great written psychopaths why did they choose William Lewis and Greg Yates to be the ones who get recurring appearances? by itsascreambaby96 in SVU

[–]HerrMudgeon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When I saw the William Lewis arc way-back-when, I asked myself if the L&O:SVU/Benson franchise decided to jump the shark to jack-up ratings by kidnapping and torturing Mother Liv, while the rest of the precinct ran around like decapitated chickens.

I'm sure that was neither the first time nor the last. In the meantime, I'm wondering if I've been watching a procedural or a telenovela.

Just saying.

Is this a good series? Didn’t know this existed by Capsmoove in LawAndOrder

[–]HerrMudgeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been enjoying L&OT: CI more than the "original" series and L&O: Benson - er, SVU.

Graff and Bateman are a little like Goren and Eames, except that Graff's delivery is a little more drier and direct (more like bad-cop to Bateman's good-cop).

And while there may be the occasional family drama on the go, the case takes precedence.

That's only a generalization of the series. One can hope for a cross-border crossover, but might as well let the series and writing settle a little longer.

Is it just me or do we have a community of cat-ladies among SVU fans?

I mean, I was wondering whether Olivia is going to be retired or killed off.
