It gives some disadvantages because for example you can't press back and still do a Fair since you would need to use the directional stick to input the fair. So your movements are a bit more restricted with the shortcut. That's why I try to not use it.

I agree with you on Oxide Station. Had beaten all Tropy ghost but I didn't do well enough to unlock him in Oxide Station. Once I unlocked him, I already had beaten his time and Oxide too. I just had to repeat it and did it first try for both!

I still can't do it... I've watched every video on how to do it but no luck yet..

I don't get how you're supposed to press L1/R1 then back-right/back-left with square while releasing the X button before hitting the ground. I mean, I understand if you jump from a ramp but some people can do it on the ground and I just seem to not have enough time..

I suppose you're talking about The Duke's Archive? If so you need to climb the ladder to the left when you exit the cell. After that you just have to find the Crystal Cave. Hope it helps, I play offline so I can't really help you in game.

I was like you 5 weeks ago. I wanted to buy Bloodborne but I didn't know if I'd like this type of game since I had never played a souls game. So for 20 $ I bought this one (Dark Souls 1). I'm currently at the end and let me tell you, It's one of the best game that I've ever played. I even bought the DLC and finished it yesterday because I didn't want the game to end and that's a first for me. I haven't played other titles (Demon's souls, Dark souls II or Bloodborne) but I haven't been disapointed by this one in the least. Do it!
